BERLIN, Germany, August 25, 2026 — Sunseeker Robotics will preview its 2027 product lineup and a broader Smart Garden vision at IFA 2026, taking place from September 4-8 at Messe Berlin. At IFA, Sunseeker will show how intelligent outdoor robotics could simplify setup and day-to-day lawn management while exploring applications beyond mowing.
The robotic lawn mower has already automated one of the most time-consuming garden chores. Drawing on more than a decade of experience in lawn care and feedback from homeowners using its products, Sunseeker has identified a recurring set of unmet needs: easier setup, fewer adjustments to maps and schedules, and less intervention as garden conditions change throughout the season. Together, these needs reveal a gap between automated cutting and garden care that requires less day-to-day management.
That gap becomes most visible in real gardens. A garden is not a fixed environment. Grass grows at different rates, weather changes conditions, and people, pets, toys or furniture alter how the space is used. Different areas may also require different schedules or forms of care. For homeowners, each change can mean updating a map, adjusting zones or rescheduling tasks.
Technology is now expanding what robotic lawn mowers can manage. Wire-free installation, AI-assisted mapping, environmental sensing and software-based control are making robotic mowers easier to deploy and more capable in complex spaces. On Friday, September 4, Sunseeker will unveil its 2027 product lineup at IFA 2026. The new robotic mowers will show how the company is applying this direction to near-term product development, beginning with simpler setup and more intelligent lawn management.
Sunseeker's longer-term vision extends beyond the current role of the robotic mower. At IFA, one concept demonstration will examine what may become possible when a robot can interact with the garden as well as move through it. The concept points toward future garden-care tasks beyond mowing and is separate from the 2027 product lineup being announced at IFA.
