Sunseeker launches Orion X7 Series

This wireless robotic mower boasts a cutting width of 14 inches and covers up to three acres.

The Sunseeker Orion X7 Series, previously known as Platform X, is officially launched.

This wireless robotic mower, unveiled at the Equipment Exposition show this fall, is an intelligent, wire-free robotic lawnmower designed to tackle challenging outdoor garden environments autonomously. It offers three advanced technologies like the Positioning and Navigation System, the seamless fusion of Real-time Kinematic (RTK) and Virtual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping, which ensures precise positioning down to the centimeter. This guarantees accurate navigation and seamless obstacle recognition, allowing the mower to effortlessly maneuver around any obstacles in its path.

The Artificial Vision and Deep-leaning System, equipped with a binocular camera and deep learning algorithms, continuously improves the mower's understanding of its environment. This results in precise obstacle recognition and avoidance, as well as intelligent optimization of virtual boundaries during manual mapping.

With remote app control, the Orion X7 allows users to configure mapping for multiple work zones right at their fingertips. Users walk alongside the work zone boundaries to establish the working area. This user-friendly feature eliminates the hassle and time-consuming process of setting up boundaries.

The Orion X7's dual cutting plates, boasting a cutting width of 14 inches and auto height adjustment between 0.8-4.0 inches, offer an actual effective cutting width exceeding 95%. Additionally, the mower's ability to efficiently cover large areas allows users to mow up to three acres.

Equipped with an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) driving system, the Orion X7 conquers slopes up to 70% with enhanced traction and zero-turning stability. Its larger wheels guarantee safety and stability across a variety of turf and garden conditions, providing reliable performance regardless of the terrain.

The Orion X7 also offers a range of thoughtful features, including a smart visual-based quick return to its stand when alerted to low battery, a low noise design for nighttime gardeners, an auto charger to ensure non-stop performance, a rain sensor, and LED light.

The Sunseeker Orion X7 is available for online purchase and at offline dealer stores from $2,399 but is $300 off from now for their pre-order. Click here for more information.
